You don’t have to be controlled by your anxiety. You can learn to manage your brain’s natural responses and to take charge of your life. With increased self-awareness, you will discover alternative ways to respond to anxiety. These new responses, practiced over time, will increase your tolerance of uncertainty, and decrease the anxiety you feel when dealing with life’s unpredictability. New behaviors are the foundation of your plan for positive change.
Mindful self-compassion will help you to be patient with yourself as you make changes that last. Most of us have a hard-wired, critical inner voice. We are usually much harder on ourselves than we are on anyone else. You will learn how to develop a self-compassionate inner voice instead. Self-compassion is a skill that can be learned and strengthened with practice. It is also one of the strongest predictors of mental health and wellness!
You will also learn strategies to overcome avoidance, worry, overthinking, perfectionism, and other unhealthy coping mechanisms, all of which actually exacerbate anxiety. These positive new approaches, starting with true awareness, enable you to not only cope but to flourish. You don’t have to wait for someday anymore. You can acknowledge and manage your anxiety in such a way that you can feel alive now, in the present moment.

My coaching career officially began in 2017 with intensive training at Coach Academy International, which greatly contributed to my ongoing commitment to growth and excellence.
